Engineering at http://www.ravieng.com and Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home
Inc. at http://www.walkerbrothersfh.com please take a look at their
sites to get a feel for what we can do for you. - June
2007
- We have just launched a new eCommerce site; Night of Joy
Vintage. The owner Anne Prunoske was a delight to work with. She had a very
unique design in mind for her site and working together we were able to deliver
a site that she is proud of. Adaptive used our favorite shopping cart utility
from SquirrelCart. This low cost shopping cart has a nice backend management
utility which gives the owner of the site complete freedom to manage inventory,
track sales, and integrate with shippers. Please visit the Night of Joy site at
www.nightofjoyvintage.com you may just
find that vintage item that you've been looking for. - December
2006
- We are proud to introduce a very nice web site for The Tot
Spot Childcare centers. We would like to take credit for the nice design,
layout and use of primary colors but we can't, the owner of The Tot Spot
provided the entire site design as a Microsoft excel spreadsheet. We translated
this design into an efficient web site. We added a few features that have
enhanced the site by locating a very easy-to-use photo gallery that can be
totally maintained by our client. Please visit The Tot spot on the web at
www.totspotkids.com . If you are looking for
child care services they may be just what you're looking for. Even though there
are not specific photos of the facility on the web site it is very modern and
clean. - July 2006
- It is exciting for us to work with a new Pittsford NY
inventor Jim Berry. Jim is a volunteer fireman who has recognized the advantage
of using LEDs in smoke filled fire situations. He invented the Buddy Light
which attaches to a fire helmet and allows fellow firefighters to help locate
their team in smoke filled areas. The site
www.BuddyLight.com was developed
based on a template purchased by our client. We built a CSS file to keep all
pages looking uniform. CSS is short for Cascading Style Sheets. We took photos
for the gallery page and front page product photos. We also incorporated the
PayPal shopping cart utility into this site so that a
shopping cart utility was not needed initially (if at all). Please visit
www.BuddyLight.com and tell your
firefighter friends about this product that might just save someone's life.
- July 2006
- New sites that Adaptive is now hosting
www.drpsignsngrafix.com (in development),
www.demallieracingproducts.com, and
www.Waynecountyfair.org -
July 2006
- We did some research on "Craigs List" type utilities that
would allow our client to provide the same type of features as
craigslist.org. We
found a very nice craigs list copy cat utility at
Ning.com. Our client, Happy
Joker, decided to direct one of their existing domains to the site at Ning, for
easy name recognition. Now they are able to provide similar features as craigs
list but at a minimal investment. Ning allows the owner to place Google AdSense
ads on the site for a minimal monthly fee. Please visit Happy Joker at
www.HappyJoker.com (which is now redirected to a
Ning site). Don't forget to add an item for sale or an upcoming event, it's
FREE - June 2006
- Adaptive took over this site from a defunct web developer.
When Adaptive was contacted by M & M Home Inspections Inc. their site was
down and their email was not operational. We did the leg work to find out all
the information to transfer the site and domain name. We now host the site and
our new client is happy to have a person to talk to when issues arrive. Please
visit www.mandmhome.com and when
you need to have your home inspected please consider them first.
- June 2006
- Please welcome Gipetto's Homemade Italian restaurant to the
world wide web www.gipettoshomemadeitalian.com We
designed this site from the menu and other restaurant literature. We maintained
the color scheme and tried to incorporate all of the menu text on the front
page so that the search engines would be better able to place them when someone
was searching for Italian food in Fairport. - May 2006
- We have been very busy lately with a new client. They decided
to get into the internet business in a fast and furious way
purchasing a
number of exiting websites and a number of new domain names. The approach has
been to focus on the benefits of driving traffic to their sites and with the
use of affiliate programs the websites themselves generate cash. Please take a
look at their sites www.happyjoker.com,
www.newsbackup.com (this site loads slow because
it is searching a 10 Giga-byte database), www.jokescity.com, and
www.cigars.bz, with others
on the way. Some of the more popular affiliate programs are
Google AdSense,
LinkShare.com
,
Commission Junction and there
are many others. These programs are not going to make you money unless your
site traffic is substantial. The normal click trough rate is less than 1% on an
affiliate ad. If you know your site visitors and focus your ads towards their
interests you might get lucky. If you would like to try this out we recommend
that you start with Google AdSense and see how it goes. However the ads that
are placed on your site could be from a competitor. Unless you own an
informational site you may want to steer clear of these ads. However if you
would like to start an informational site and be one of the advertisers on that
site you could benefit in two ways, one driving more people to your site and
two providing a possible affiliate income. Please let us know if this something
you would like to give a try. - March 2006
- If you are a coffee aficionado you may want to purchase some
coffee from Caye Coffee .com, their coffee is
packaged from a single supplier on Ambergris Caye, a small island in the
Caribbean just off the coast of Belize. CayeCoffee.com is a single supplier of this coffee
in the United States. Adaptive put together this site based on the suppliers
site Caye Coffee .bz to
reflect a uniform appearance for the coffee supplier. We made a few
modifications to the Orders page that has quickly allowed online payments
directly to the owners
PayPal account. If you would like to start accepting
payments online
PayPal is a cost effective way to begin (it's free). With
ebay becoming so popular
PayPal is quickly becoming a payment method of choice. As a
merchant you can still accept payments using Master Card, Visa, American
Express or Discover if the buyer doesn't have a
PayPal account. - February
2006
- We are proud to introduce Super Seal Sealcoating to the
Adaptive family of websites www.supersealco.com. Super Seal has
been in the seal coating business for over 20 years, and we were honored to
provide them with a site that meets their high level of expectations.
- January 2006
- We have discovered a very nice newsletter utility that we
setup on Harv's Harley website. We were so impressed with its options we
decided to use it ourselves. If you are interested in keeping in contact with
your clients or others that may be interested in your business we encourage you
to ask us about the features and benefits. If you would like to signup to
receive our newsletter please enter your email address in the form on this page

Southern California manufacturer of children's clothing and layette, as well as
coordinating & matching outfits and loungewear for girls & boys. They
are now selling products on the World Wide Web. Adaptive did a total makeover
of their website to allow them to reach a broader market. Adaptive integrated a
low cost shopping cart called Squirrel Cart that has a nice backend management
utility which gives the owner of the site complete freedom to manage inventory,
track sales, and integrate with shippers. In the near future Adaptive will be
helping to list them with the various search engines so their site can be
found. Please visit their site to view their charming products. The site is
located at www.butterflykissesclothing.com
